    This is a 5 star property for sure, and the advert was very accurate. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the decor nice, floors lovely and solid, oven was great to use, dishwasher great, garden lovely (with a distant sea view not mentioned). List goes on. ...

    This is a 5 star property for sure, and the advert was very accurate. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the decor nice, floors lovely and solid, oven was great to use, dishwasher great, garden lovely (with a distant sea view not mentioned). List goes on. Having said that and being very picky, there were two very minor negatives which could easily have made our stay just that bit better. 1. A seperate tumble drier or washing machine with a tumble drier option. Although the washing line was adequate, weather is not always good and sometimes you need things dried yesterday! 2. A smart TV. The one installed was quite old and had no app functionality, I.E. No Youtube or Netflix. I suggest you take your own USB stick. People often ask why you need a TV on holiday, but those couple of hours in the evening are helpful with kids.

A sunny conservatory is a great addition to this modern holiday home and opens into an enclosed garden where summer evenings can be spent relaxing with a book on a deck chair, or sizzling sausages on the Spanish style barbecue whilst the children run round and let off steam.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need with built in dishwasher, washing machine and full sized fridge freezer.

There is off road parking for one car on the driveway leading to a garage that can be used for storing wetsuits, surfboards and bikes.

Further parking can normally be found on the roadside directly outside of the property. This area of North Devon entices visitors from all walks of life, whether you are walkers wishing to enjoy the stunning scenery of the SW coastal path, families with young children wanting to enjoy days out at the beach - or friends who just wish to kick back and relax and enjoy mouthwatering local food from the restaurants and pubs nearby.

The Fortescue Arms is just ten minutes walk, less than half a mile along the road leading to the property.

This is one of the best surfing spots in Devon with often near perfect conditions at Croyde or Woolacombe.

Enjoy a round of golf at the nearby Woolacombe & Morthoe Golf Club, or if you have a real head for heights, try a tandem hang gliding experience from the cliffs at Woolacombe.
