“A fabulous cottage in a lovely village.”
We visited with our small terrier and the garden is secure enough to let him wander in and out of the cottage without worrying that he'd find a way out. We visited with our small terrier and the garden is secure enough to let him wander in and out of the cottage without worrying that he'd find a way out. The double bed is soft and comfy and the water was properly hot whenever we needed it. The kitchen is well equipped. There are excellent walks to be done from the doorstep with no need for driving. Our car is far too large to park in the lane outside but we were able to unload and load without problem. We were able to park in the carpark for the village hall which is one minute walk away (a permit is available if you ask at the village hall). The village shop is literally on the corner (open 8-8) and there are three village pubs, one of which, The New Inn, has one of the best views from a beer garden I've ever seen.
We really can't say too much about this comfortable, clean cottage and its great location and are probably about to book another stay.
What can I say, thank you so much Barbara! So so happy that you had a lovely time here. Very best. Lucy
