“A bit disappointed with the condition of the cottage.”

Cream carpets grubby throughout and walls need a good paint. It didn't feel loved or thoroughly cleaned. Cupboard doors needed a wipe and bathroom needs a good spray of mould and mildew on the tiles. Also dirty where the tiles meet the walls. The shower head needs tightening as kept slipping down when the shower was on. Towels are way to small and bath towels should be provided. Dog poo and used disposable BBQ at the top of the garden. Sofa very uncomfortable and I would recommend ...

The shower head needs tightening as kept slipping down when the shower was on. Towels are way to small and bath towels should be provided. Dog poo and used disposable BBQ at the top of the garden. Sofa very uncomfortable and I would recommend replacing also the TV is too small from the distance away from the sofa. Seemed impossible to recycle as the boxes go missing. The plus side was the bed was very comfortable and the cottage had great proportion and use of space used well. The cottage was peaceful and in an amazing location with walks from the doorstep to Blagdon Lake and the local pubs. The New Inn had the best beer garden I have ever been to and the food was beautiful and the staff really welcoming. Very dog friendly. The Seymour Arms very welcoming for a drink and again dog friendly. Would eat there next time. Cheddar Gorge is only 15 minutes away and would highly recommend. We ate at The White Hart and the ploughman's had so much meat and cheese for 2 people that we brought plenty home. Lovely staff and nice beer garden.
