    “You might note for older people that the technology in the house is very troublesome - we are 83 and educated at degree-level but ended up not using the oven or microwave because of the pain of understanding the manuals, and how time-consuming that was.”

    Got to grips eventually with the central heating. The bath wasn't easy to get in or out, btw. The property is beautifully presented, the beds extremely comfortable and the location perfect. Just a note for oldies.......... !

    Thank you for your feedback, we will look to see if we can make the operations of the oven, microwave & heating easier to understand. We’re sorry you had difficulty getting out of the bath, however, there are 2 walk in showers that are very easy to use. The popular seaside resort of Minehead occupies a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the lovely West Somerset Coast. This welcoming town boasts a mile long esplanade, providing a wonderful backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the pretty harbour, visited in the summer by the famous paddle steamer Waverley, offers excellent fishing opportunities. Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens, winner of many awards for its beautiful floral displays. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridlepaths and heather clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
