Newton Abbot is an historic market town on the River Teign. As a holiday destination it has something for everyone; with a mix of history, culture and open countryside on offer.

On the east bank at the of the River Teign is the village of Shaldon. This largely unspoilt village has two beautiful sandy beaches where you can spend a day relaxing.
