Why book a cottage in Bude?

The seaside town of Bude in North Cornwall really does have something for everyone. From beautiful beaches to thrilling attractions, a cottage in Bude will cater to every member of the family.

There are beautiful sandy beaches to choose from, with some being dog-friendly and others popular with surfers. The Bude Sea Pool is a sheltered area of water that is ideal for children who want to swim in calm water. For anyone who enjoys walking, The South West Coast Path runs along this stretch of coast and has some stunning views from the headland. 

Bude has a good variety of shops and is well stocked with pubs and restaurants for dining out. There are many attractions to keep everyone busy including Bude Haven Recreation Park, where you can play mini-golf and table tennis, and there are activity centres who provide lessons in climbing and abseiling. 

Places to visit near Bude

Head south down the coast to visit Tintagel and uncover the Arthurian history of Tintagel Castle. Continue farther down the coast and visit the peaceful fishing villages of Port Gaverne and Port Isaac.
