“Billys Barn is a excellent getaway, stunning views, our 2 doggies loved sitting and watching the chickens wandering past the large window, Maggie and Charlie, the owners were lovely and their home was situated to the rear of Billy's Barn which was reassuring if you needed them, there was a large field where we could take our dogs for a walk and it was nice to let them run about in the enclosed garden while we sat and chilled, the shower in the en-suite was luxurious and the kitchen was very well stocked.”

the only niggles I had was no internet, I was looking forward to relaxing in the evening with my favourite hobby, genealogy, nor could I connect to listen to my talking books, due to my sight loss the Alexa I brought along didn't work and of course the smart TV could only access limited channels, there was no electric fire as advertised but it was warm enough without it, a DVD is advertised but this is attached to the small TV in the bedroom, however I would definitely return and I would bring my own CD player with me for the evenings, overall I would highly recommend. I must add though and this is of no fault of the owners but the narrow roads around Devon were more pothole than road.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay here in beautiful Devon. I am sorry the limited access to the Internet impacted on your use of technology. We do state that the best access is the main bedroom and the garden. We continue to hope that we as community here will get better access one day. The fire was removed due to being out dated and most people turn the heating on as required. We did invest in a new TV recently and found that the DVD player was not compatible. Thank you for high lighting the need to update our property description. The pot holes continue to be an issue and we all look forward to the roads getting mended one day. It was lovely meeting you and look forward to your return one day. All the best Maggi Property Owner
