The property

Please note this property has a Saturday changeover in 2017 Nuzzled in an idyllic countryside setting, Phoenix Cottage oozes tranquillity and comfort, perfect for a couple seeking a restful haven within easy reach of picturesque fishing villages, coves and beaches.

The Cathedral city of Truro is just 4 miles away, with cobbled streets dotted with galleries, museums, shops, theatre and cinema.

Eateries and coffee houses are in abundance, serving pasties and cream teas.

Work up an appetite after a round of golf, or hop on the river cruise to the vibrant harbour town of Falmouth and enjoy one of the Cornish ales from the many traditional inns.

Discover Henry VIII Pendennis Castle or the National Maritime Museum, or simply have fun on one of the three beaches.

Hire a bike and explore the woodlands from the cottage; ramblers and four legged friends will enjoy the scenic traffic free trails to the harbour and beach at Portreath on the Atlantic coast.

A little further up is St Agnes and beautiful Trevaunance Cove, where the coastal path continues its way to Perranporth with its popular stretch of golden sands and safe waters.

Phoenix Cottage sits in the wooded gated grounds of the owner's farm and is attractively decorated in country cream and crimson hues.

This single-storey detached cottage offers an open plan living room with a well equipped kitchen at one end and a sitting and dining area at the other with doors to a spacious bedroom, a modern bathroom with separate shower and a decked patio that is a real sunspot and ideal for alfresco dining.

The owners, who reside in the main farmhouse have taken immense trouble to ensure the cottage offers a high level of comfort and quality.

Guests receive a welcome tray on arrival and a mid-week bed linen change is available on request.

Pets are very welcome and there is an enclosed tree lined meadow next to the cottage that is perfect for exercising dogs.
