“Our visit to Kelleden Cabin was marred by the particularly unsummery weather which meant that we could not make the best of the garden and woodland.”

When we were at the Cabin we were largely confined to the sitting room with its view of the owners' house and drive and not of the garden or grounds. In addition, either caused by the wet outside or its construction, we felt that the interior was a little damp. The towels were mean and there were no anti slip shower mats. The above notwithstanding we enjoyed our visit.

Hello there Roger, Apologies for not responding earlier, I only saw your review this evening. It was such a shame that the wet weather marred your stay here, as our previous guests have always enjoyed both decked areas and the rear garden and woodland. Regarding the views from the sitting room, you could have made use of the seating/reading area and coffee table in the master bedroom at the rear, with lovely views of the woodland and the rear garden through the double aspect windows. As you may recall on your arrival when I greeted you, I did suggest that you have the heating turned on due to the inclement weather, however you did decline this offer and it appeared that you did not make good use of the heated towel rails in both bathrooms which may have helped. As for the towels, I'm sorry that you thought the towels were mean as we did provide a bath and hand towel for each guest, in addition to the 3 extra hand towels through out the property. I have taken on board your comment and will supply more where necessary. Also, there is a anti-slip shower mat supplied in the en-suite shower room that you used, rolled up next to the chest of drawers. It is a shame we can't arrange perfect weather conditions for everyone's stay here but I have taken onboard your comments and am pleased that you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for staying at Kelleden Cabin. Kind regards, Sue Property Owner
