    “The cottage was finished to a very high standard and was very clean and comfortable.”

    We found the garage a great way to keep our muddy boots from messing up the cottage and obviously keeping the car safe. Will definitely be visiting again.

Orchard View Lodge is a luxurious one-bedroom annexe settled in the Devon village of Broadclyst.

With its distinctive reverse-level layout, contemporary furnishings and electronics, and convenient location just a short drive from Exeter and the coast, Orchard View Lodge is a great choice for a couple and their canine companions who want to explore Devon in splendour and style.

In the sumptuous bathroom, enjoy a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi bath while reading your favourite book or a refreshing rinse in the shower.

For budding historians, a short trip to Exeter's ancient cathedral, Exeter Historic Guildhall, and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery is a good place to start their explorations or alternatively follow the local paths and bridleways all the way to The National Trust Killerton House with its wonderful gardens.

The picture house and the Exeter Corn Exchange are great places to spend an evening or have a night out in one of the many bars and restaurants in this vibrant city.

Riverside Valley Park, the Barley Valley Nature Reserve, and Northernhay Gardens are all within a few miles of the property.

Make your way to Exmouth, where you'll be able to take in the beautiful marina, have fresh fish and chips, picnic in the Manor Gardens and learn about the history of the area at the Exmouth Museum or for a quieter day visit beautiful Budleigh Salterton.

Sandy Bay's Blue Flag Beach is just a short drive away, where you can relax on the sands, take in the views from the cliffs, or paddle along the shoreline.
