    “Lovely cottage let down by cleaning I had to spend some time cleaning mud splatters up the conservatory door and paint work and sweeping the floor from fluff and dog hairs.”

The town of Bruton is situated in the south-east corner of Somerset. Proud of its status as one of the smallest towns in England, Bruton is built in the valley of the River Brue and is situated between Frome, Gillingham and Wincanton, and Castle Cary is nearby. Bath and Bristol are also within easy reach, by car or train (Bruton is on the Bristol to Weymouth line), and major attractions such as Stourhead Gardens and House are well worth visiting. A lovely base for your Somerset getaway.
