Why book a cottage in Hope Cove?

Hope Cove is a small seaside village situated on the south coast of Devon. It is a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing cottage holiday. Hope Cove has two beaches to choose from with a mixture of golden sands and rock pools. The coastline is part of the South West Coast Path and you can walk for miles in either direction. It is protected by the Bolt Tail, a stretch of headland that just out and creates the cove. 

For a village of its size, there are a good number of pubs and restaurants to enjoy a delicious meal or just sit with a drink and admire the view.

Places to visit near Hope Cove

Head westwards along the coast and spend a day in Thurlestone or Bantham. Both have excellent beaches and some lovely traditional pubs. If you travel east from Hope Cove you can visit the foodie town of Salcombe, renowned for its fabulous seafood restaurants.
