Why book a holiday cottage in Ringmore?
Ringmore is a small, peaceful village with a secluded beach and dramatic coastline. Walk along the South West Coast Path and enjoy stunning views out to Bigbury Bay and Ayrmer Cove. The sandy bay was once used as a port for fishermen who would set out to fish for pilchards.
Ringmore has a number of old buildings and there is a sense of stepping back in time when you stay here as the village has no street lighting. The village has one pub which is the Journey’s End Inn, a building that dates back to the 13th century. This charming and characterful pub serves local ales and great food and has no fewer than four fires to keep you warm in the winter months.
Places to visit near Ringmore
Travel along the South West Coast Path to visit the neighbouring village of Bigbury-on-Sea and cross the tidal island and explore Burgh Island.
