Things to do in May Half Term in the South West

In Devon, head to The Miniature Pony Centre in Dartmoor National Park, and the beautiful Canonteign Falls. Further up in North Devon, adventure into Exmoor National Park and visit the Exmoor Zoo.

On the edge of the Mendips in Somerset lies the famous Cheddar Gorge, home to the famous Cheddar cheese we all know and love! Visit the amazing limestone caves here and underground rivers.

Over in the Cornwall, when you’re not tucking into Cornish pasties on your May half term break, why not try your hand at surfing? Cornwall is overflowing with stunning beaches to visit.

The Jurassic Coast of Dorset is full of hidden gems, quite literally. See if you can find your own fossils on one of the beautiful beaches like Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis. Head to Weymouth for a world of delights; Sandworld, SEA LIFE Centre, Nothe Fort and Weymouth Beach.
