Why book a cottage near Whitsand Bay?

The beautiful beach of Whitsand Bay stretches for over 3 miles in length between Rame Head and Portwrinkle. It is one of the most magnificent beaches in Cornwall, with fabulous views from the cliff tops. The South West Coast Path runs along this stretch of coastline and in spring and autumn this area is a fantastic spot to see many migrant birds including gannets and skuas.

There are some great places to eat and drink including The View. Set high up on the cliffs, it is a modern restaurant that serves incredible food and has wonderful views out across the bay.

If you are looking for places to visit when you stay at Whitsand Bay then travel east around the Rame Peninsula and visit the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand or head west along the coast to the seaside village of Seaton.
