October Half Term Breaks in the South West

Enjoy the last of the autumn scenery in Somerset on some walks through the countryside. Somerset is home to the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), as well as the Quantock Hills AONB and the majority of Exmoor National Park.

Visit Devon or Cornwall for your final fill of stunning beaches for the year. North Devon and North Cornwall’s coasts offer up some fantastic waves for avid surfers, with the water not as cold as you might expect thanks to the sun heating the water all summer.
